What You Will Do

• WHAT YOU WILL DO

Finance/Accounting Intern

Functions and Responsibilities

• Analyze, model, manage and calculate the reserve for uncertain tax positions

• Support direct and indirect state tax audits

• Address notices/inquires with various tax authorities

• Scan tax documents and coordinate with shared service center in Poland

• Support 3rd party U.S federal and state tax return preparation

• Understanding of internal controls, documentation, and testing procedures

• Assistance with other special projects including federal rate planning, state tax rate planning, credits and incentives

• Transfer pricing support for intercompany financing, royalty arrangements and other cross‐border activities

• Assist with accounting and book-keeping for special purpose entities.

This new role in the Company is a unique opportunity with an extraordinary global organization. It will require work on-site for 8-15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Understanding of financial accounting and economic related concepts

• Working knowledgeof U.S./State/Foreign tax laws and concepts

• Strong MS Office skills

• Effective written and verbal communication and time management skills

• Previous tax/accounting internships

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Environment and Physical Demand

• Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).

• Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.

• Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
