What You Will Do

Understand and execute key aspects of supplier quality assurance to achieve best-in-class supplier quality, delivery, and service.

Support the shop floor in addressing raw material issues by collaborating with the shop and Module Center quality teams.

Collect, compile, and present COPQ data to drive continuous improvement initiatives at the supplier in reaction to escapes and in support of cost and lead-time reduction.

Investigate, document, and close supplier investigations, escapes, and nonconformances.

Provide written status reports on supplier escapes to customers and management team.

Utilize 8D problem solving methodology to ensure robust root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.

Lead vendor corrective action board (VCAB) reviews to address quality signature performance, trends, and nonconformance activity.

Create and maintain key relationships across multiple disciplines with both the supplier and P&W to resolve production challenges.

Support procurement and other P&W internal & external customers. Work alongside engineering and supply chain to execute proactive supply base improvement plans.

Support domain CORE initiatives.

Perform JCL2 Global Trade classifications.

Shift :6:30am-3:00pm

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Qualifications You Must Have

High School or GED

3+ years of experience working with quality methods and procedures in manufacturing or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 2+years related experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

Fluent in MS Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Experience interfacing with SAP and Documentum

Possess excellent Root Cause Analysis skills.

Possess excellent blueprint and specification interpretation skills.

Ability to work independently.

Available for travel

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
