Description

We are in search of a Fleet Coordinator to join our team in North Bergen, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating fleet logistics and procurement, with a strong focus on electronic Purchase Order (PO) systems. This position is a permanent role and is fully in-office. The company offers catered lunch daily and great benefits/perks!

• Responsibilities:

• Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

• Coordinate vehicle assignments to drivers based on availability, route requirements, and driver qualifications.

• Manage fleet fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve fuel efficiency.

• Track and analyze fleet usage data to optimize fleet size and composition, recommending purchases or disposals of vehicles as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle operation and maintenance.

• Handle insurance claims and liaise with insurance providers for fleet vehicles.

• Develop and implement driver training programs focusing on safety, fuel efficiency, and proper vehicle handling.

• Investigate and report on incidents involving fleet vehicles to prevent future occurrences.

  Requirements

  Qualifications:

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of fleet management software.

Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
