We are looking for strong individuals who can promote and grow with the company once you learn our clients, products and services. Boart Longyear is hiring for a new Customer Service Representative. We are looking for recent college graduates or people with equivalent working experience in any related fields to come and learn all about the drilling and mining industry.

Your role will be to learn and support the sale of our globally manufactured products to our USA customer base. To ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and delivery commitments are met. From the preparation and processing of sales orders; to liaising with internal departments to provide technical support, this role is key to our continued business success.

Minimum Qualifications

· Experience in the Customer Service, quote processes, order processing and tracking your orders as needed

· Experience/knowledge in Supply Chain activities, desirable

· Knowledge of and operational experience in distribution and warehousing a strong plus

· Experience in the mining industry is preferable but not required

· Good knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools with emphasis on MS Excel and Outlook

· Excellent Organizational skills and detail-oriented

· Excellent Oral and written communication skills

· Team orientated. Must be able to work in a team-driven environment and take additional responsibilities as required.

· Proactive and self-driven

· Good problem solver and/or solutions focused

· Ability to handle conflict and multiple priorities

Responsibilities

· Prepare and manage Quotes, Sales Orders, invoices and other customer facing documents throughout their life cycle

· Support Customers located in the USA (ex: product availability and price; invoices, shipment date, claims, etc.)

· Manage a list of accounts.

· Work closely with the Sales Manager located in Salt Lake City, UT

· Manage key operational reports and ascertain compliance with established key performance indicators

· Support Credit/Finance organization of the resolution of Sales Order credit/financial hold issues.

· Maintain customers and sales records up-to-date in compliance with BLY record retention policy

· Process and manage Claims and Return of Material Authorization (RMA)

· Other duties as assigned
