Description

Growing manufacturer in the North Augusta, SC area is adding an Accountant/Senior Accountant to their team. The Accountant/Senior Accountant will be responsible for GL account reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations, preparing journal entries, month end close activities,, fixed asset management, booking depreciation to name a few. The Accountant/ Senior Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, the annual audit, and inventory management. This position will report directly to the Controller and will handle other special projects as assigned. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of an Associates or Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, Solid Excel skills and ideally ERP system experience is required.

Requirements

• Must hold an Associate's degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field - Accounting or Finance

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Knowledge of general ledger operations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrable experience as an Accountant/ Sr. Accountant or similar role

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting practices

• Experience with accounting software is preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills

• High level of integrity and professionalism.
