As the Senior Manager, FP&A will lead the annual operating plan process for a $1B+ revenue manufacturing business, including responsibility for the full P&L, balance sheet and free cash flow. Under the guidance of the SVP Finance, you will work daily with the Regional President/COO, Sr Leadership team, and Finance teams of the region – analyzing results, identifying opportunity for improvements, analyzing potential acquisitions, developing strategy, and helping set the direction of the organization.

You Will:

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting process, and the annual operating plan process for the region.

  • Perform detailed variance analysis of actual performance vs forecast, budget, prior year, and Watts’s long-term strategy.

  • Lead financial discussions during Monthly Operating Review (MOR) with Watts senior leadership.

  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Sr. Leadership team and make recommendations on both strategy and operations.

  • Guide FP&A process & reporting consistency throughout the region, sharing best practices with other Watts regions.

  • Lead financial preparation for 5-year strategic and long-term budgetary planning for the region.

  • Oversee costs management actions according to Watts’s strategy, including strategic growth investments, potential acquisitions, and transformation programs.

  • Partner with the Corporate FP&A and Investor Relations on quarterly Earnings call preparation, Board of Directors presentations, and Investor meetings.

  • Support VP of Sales and VP of Marketing to increase organic growth projects.

  • Mentor and develop the talent of the FP&A team, while building an effective team dynamic within Finance.

  • Lead larger, cross-divisional teams outside of direct span of control within the region.

You Have:

  • A minimum of a BS; MBA preferred; a CPA is a plus.

  • 10+ years of broad finance experience, beginning in accounting, followed by experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making recommendations to senior leadership.

  • 4+ years of hands-on people leadership experience.

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects.

  • Worked as a partner to both Corporate and Business Unit Leaders of a multi-divisional global organization.

  • Experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.

  • A collaborative and flexible style, with a service mentality.

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions.

  • Experience managing the finance function (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) within a diverse, division-based entity.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
