The Opportunity:
Make a difference in the lives of today’s military! CACI is looking for a Software Configuration Manager with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to join our team. As a motivated CM professional, you will be responsible for Configuration Management (CM), change control, configuration identification, status accounting, and configuration audits of developmental and operational systems. The candidate will have a record of accomplishment managing release configurations in support of systems and application development.
The position will be a remote position with possible travel to customer site a few times annually.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.), as well as prepare and execute program configuration and management plans.
Collaborate in analyzing, negotiating, and implementing contract and CM policy, standards, and requirements on all contract and delivery orders.
Coordinate with the customer and project teams to maintain configuration paperwork in accordance with established change control and release board processes.
Communicate CM input to project events such as status meetings, change control boards, release review boards, etc.
Provide technical expertise, be highly self-directed and motivated, and collaborate respectfully with their teammates, always keeping user mission first.

Qualifications:
Required:
Must have active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Bachelor’s degree (preferable IT-related), 3-5 years’ experience in configuration management, or equivalent combination to reflect knowledge and experience.
Experience performing configuration management processes in accordance with established processes.
Understanding of DoD Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes.
Experience with product lifecycle management tools (ex. CITDB, CMPro, SAP PLM, Teamcenter, etc.).
Must possess ability to work well in a team environment and professionally interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate team interaction and support system documentation.
Desired:
Experience supporting configuration management for DoD projects, preference towards USMC-based projects.
Experience tracking and managing open source software (OSS) components.
Possess certifications that meet or exceed DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements (ex. CompTIA Security+).

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$47,100-$96,500
