Description

As an HR Recruiter in our Higher Education team, you'll play the key role in shaping our progressive academic community by connecting diverse and inspiring individuals to our team.

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Recruiter to help us identify and acquire talented professionals for our institution. As part of the HR team, the recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and managing the hiring paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with department managers to determine staffing needs and requirements.

  • Develop and implement creative and effective recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality candidates.

  • Review and screen resumes and applications.

  • Arrange and conduct initial interviews with candidates.

  • Coordinate with hiring managers for technical interviews and final selection.

  • Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates.

  • Prepare job offers and negotiate salary and contractual details.

  • Establish a strong network through job portals, colleges, job fairs, etc.

  • Perform regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and their implementation.

  • Maintain proper documentation of all recruited employees.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Previous experience (2-3 years) as an HR Recruiter in higher education is preferred.

  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment process and employment laws and practices.

  • Proficient use of HR software, databases, and applicant tracking systems.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.

  • Good networking and relationship-building abilities.

  • Strong decision-making skills.
