Job Title: Electrician

Pay: $25-30/hour

Job Description

We are seeking two skilled electricians to join our team at the Port of Norfolk. The primary focus will be running electrical components for a piece of equipment arriving from Poland. A TWIC Card or eligibility to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Run electrical wires and conduit

• Bend conduit

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Install electrical equipment

• Perform electrical terminations

• Troubleshoot electrical issues

• Pull wire as needed

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in running conduit and electrical wiring

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems

• Industrial electrical experience

• At least 5 years of electrical experience

• Ability to meet requirements for a TWIC card

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction and installation

• TWIC Card eligibility

Work Environment

Day shift work in an outdoor environment. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, a hard hat, a safety vest, and safety glasses (gloves are a plus for this project).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
