Tetrad Digital Integrity LLC COMSEC Telecommunications Specialist in Norfolk, Virginia

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age. We are looking for a COMSEC Telecommunications Specialist to join our team in Norfolk, VA.  

The COMSEC Telecommunications Specialist shall have experience and knowledge necessary to manage the day-to-day operation and handling of Navy COMSEC equipment to include compliance supporting COMSEC upgrading and testing. Additionally, experience in the design, deployment, and operation of COMSEC devices and the ability to manage a Life Cycle Management (LCM) database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages, tracks, and reports the installation of approved C4 systems, applications, and capabilities throughout the MSC Fleet and Shore Components.

  • Oversees and administers the MSC Electronic Key Management System and Auditing Program, which enables secure encrypted communications.

  • Provisions and maintains telecommunications and computer network services for the MSC Shore Component; including Video Teleconferencing, Mobile and Desktop Telephones, Navy and Marine Corps Intranet, and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network services.

  • Provisions and maintains satellite communications, navigation, computer networks, and command and control systems. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An active Top Secret clearance

  • Ability to travel both CONUS and OCONUS up to 30% of the time; current passport

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in COMSEC management and operations.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in US Navy or Military Sealift Command Afloat Operations.

  • Four (4) years’ experience in equipment design, deployment, troubleshooting, upgrading and operation of COMSEC devices and accounting mechanisms.

  • Experience maintaining a Life Cycle Management (LCM) database

  • Possess one of the following from the CSWF Designation code 723 Intermediate/Journeyman:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4012-Senior Systems Manager

  • Military training: CIN A-4C-1340 Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Operating Account Manager or CIN W-3B-1500 EKMS Manager

  • Certifications: CAP or CASP+ or CompTIA Security+
