Job Description

As Product Manager for Reverse Osmosis products, you will assume full responsibility for managing and optimizing our existing and future product portfolio. This includes ensuring product quality, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving continuous cost optimization initiatives. You will play a key role in developing and executing the product roadmap aligned with relevant application strategies.

Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and commercial product support to sales, field service, and other relevant stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Development:

• Possess deep technical knowledge of product performance, functionality, and applications.

• Serve as a technical expert, understanding product capabilities and knowing where to source further information within Innovation and Field Service teams.

• Develop compelling business cases for new product innovations and product variants, aligning with Innovation Portfolio and Agile Frontend selections.

• Lead new product development projects, acting as the product owner and driving progress throughout the lifecycle.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical and sales documentation for all products.

• Proactively identify and implement product cost optimization strategies.

• Define and own the product value proposition, including competitive analysis against key competitors (NBAs).

• Manage the Product Lifecycle, ensuring spare part availability and planning for product longevity and phase-out strategies.

• Establish and maintain a repository of frequently asked questions (Q&A) to address known customer challenges and solutions.

• Provide input and ensure product compliance with relevant industry standards.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across Sales, Field Service, Innovation, Application Management, and Commercial Excellence.

• Engage with external stakeholders, including customers (in conjunction with Sales) and end-users.

Performance Measurement:

• Drive sales growth and margin expansion for products within the portfolio.

• Foster a culture of innovation, contributing to a high innovation rate within the product scope.

• Achieve success in new product business case realization and market penetration.

Background & Skills

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the role of Product Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or higher in Engineering or A strong foundation in either technical or commercial disciplines.

Have a minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in a Product Management role.

The candidate should have technical and/or commercial expertise within an industrial setting. Prior experience in Sea Water Reverse Osmosis and/or Industrial Wastewater reuse & Recycling is highly desirable.

Overall, we are looking for a candidate that has a costumer value focus. Very good collaboration and communication skills and with a proactive approach to tasks and role ownership.
