Responsibilities

• Develop and test all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical components for automated food production equipment.

• Control, Electric, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting up to 480VAC.

• Design, develop, and test all necessary automation programming on PLC.

• Utilize AutoCAD software for computer-aided design of machines and components.

• Work on machine tools, material handling systems, and industrial production equipment used in food processing.

• Integrate new and improved components into mechanical equipment.

• Design and Implementation of continuous improvement projects.

• Preventive and Corrective maintenance as well as inspection activities.

• Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement.

• Maintain downtimes due equipment failures as low as possible.

• Work order follow up.

• Documents result of activities in corresponding Formats.

• Comply with local Food Safety Standards and other standards adopted by the Company.

• Comply with personnel safety regulations and other standards adopted by the Company.

Keep constant communication with other areas such as production, quality control that led to increase in quality and efficiency of the whole process plant .Electrical Testing Equipment.

Knowledge of Metric and Imperial measuring systems and conversions

Electric, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic schematic reading and design electrical and electronic machinery parts PLC, HMI, SERVODRIVES, DRIVES, Vision Systems

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 18 hrs of overtime per week
