Willis Mechanical Inc HVAC Field Service Supervisor in Norcross, Georgia

Willis Mechanical is accepting applications for a professional and ambitious HVAC Field Service Supervisor. This field leader is responsible for training and leading their team of journeymen, tradesmen, and apprentices while performing repairs and maintenance on various commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment. This position is a combination of both supervisory and technician responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Coach and inspire your team to achieve the highest levels of safety, professionalism, efficiency, customer service, and quality of work

  • Inspect work for quality

  • Repair, replace, and provide preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.

  • Obtain and maintain required certifications and comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide and model exemplary customer service and support.

  • Assist apprentices and service technicians in all areas of the job.

  • Oversee team members during regular working hours as well as after hours calls.

  • Provide detailed paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing, and inventory.

  • Work professionally, independently, and manage time in accordance with company policies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas of the company, as needed

  • Maintain a record of job progress and performance for technicians on the team.

  • Provide verbal and written feedback to technicians regularly.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • Journeyman level or above

  • 2+ years of successful experience as a Service Journeyman

  • Demonstration of leadership experience

  • Maintain continued education and training every year.

  • Possesses a history of safety and safety awareness on the job

  • Clean, safe driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test

  • High integrity, dependability, professionalism, exceptional communication, and impeccable social skills.

    Pay and Benefits

Willis provides a vehicle, fuel card, and uniforms. Experienced Journeyman Technicians receive paid holidays and three weeks of Paid Time Off. The employees' health, dental, and vision insurance is covered by Local 72. Employees also have access to the Willis Mechanical 401K program.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday. Day travel to new customers and job sites is expected.
