Saint-Gobain HR Coordinator in NORCROSS, Georgia
In alignment with company vision, mission, values, and objectives, The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to all areas of the human resource department and serves as the point of contact to employees in answering benefit, payroll and policy questions. This position will also take an active role in ensuring all human resource functions are complying with local, state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
Maintain human resource information system (HRIS) relevant to employee personal/historical data, benefits, payroll, and performance
Administer employee policies pertaining to vacation, dress code restrictions, non-discrimination, professional conduct, discipline, workplace safety and more
Assist in new hire enrollment meetings and annual benefit meetings; along with responding to employee related benefit questions
Support the HR Manager with recruitment and employment strategies to fulfill departmental vacancies and business needs
Participate in employee related disciplinary actions, terminations, and counseling/review meetings as needed
Responsible for preparation and processing of payroll on a weekly basis, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets, track and deduct all special payroll deductions
Maintain/update company organizational charts
Protect organization's value by keeping information secure and confidential
Process hourly onboarding; background checks, I9 Forms, HRIS entry and paperwork
Oversee recognition programs; perfect attendance, tenure awards, birthday gifts, etc.
Organize and plan employee engagement events
Assists with guiding employees through various human resource processes and answering any questions they may have about policies
Perform other related duties as assigned

3+ years of hands-on HR experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field preferred
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
