Job Description:

DT Professional Services is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team in Norco, CA! The Database Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security measures of the company databases. Your duties will include monitoring and updating malware protection software to combat potential security breaches, creating account data for authorized individuals to access databases, and organizing databases to find important documents quickly. The ideal candidate will install and maintain the performance of database servers, develop processes for optimizing database security, set and maintain database standards, and manage database access. Other responsibilities include performance tuning of database systems, install, upgrade, & manage database applications, diagnose & troubleshoot database errors, recommend & implement emerging database technologies, and create automation for repeating database tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess an active DoD issued Secret Clearance

• Possess a Security+ Certificate

• 3+ years experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

• Experience with ETL

• Strong knowledge in Linux systems

• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling/data warehouses

• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Impeccable attention to detail

  Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• MCSE/MCSA certifications

• Windows Server 2016 certification

• Experience with Windows Server environment

• Extensive experience with database technologies (Oracle)

• Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure)

  The compensation range for this position: $90,000 - $110,000/annually.
