Primary Responsibilities:
Support application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintain ETL application working with established Agile processes
Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
Proactively identify and fix production and non-production application issues
Participate in daily Scrum meetings and delivering the assigned tasks within the timelines specified and meeting the team goal
Translate requirements into technical specifications
Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Achieve harmonious working relationships with business partners and within the team
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize developed projects in DataStage
Ensure timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per defined timelines
Ready to evaluate new tools, new techniques, and strategies

Required Qualifications:
6 years of experience in ETL development - DataStage, Shell Scripting
Experience in Spark and Scala
Experience in Python
Experience in Health care domain
Production support exposure
Knowledge on End-to-end development on ETL tool using DataStage
Working knowledge on Agile or Kanban methodology
Knowledge on scheduler - preferably Airflow
Proven ability to design Technical Specification documents and provide review or walkthrough to the team
Proven good in basic SQL writing skills
Proven good in communication and able to handle client’s queries effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge on shell scripting
Knowledge and working experience on Teradata
