Our client in the print & packaging space is looking for a hands on Project Manager to join their team fulltime! This role will require 5 days a week on site in Niles IL.\ \ This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading CPG packaging manufacturers in a hands-on role owning and managing the production process for around 20 clients!\ \ The Project Manager will be responsible for:\ - Preparing required documentation for all phases of a project including: job tickets, purchase orders, cost reports, billing, status trackers etc.\ - Lead pre-production meetings\ - Review purchase orders, proposals and job specifications\ - Identify and manage outside vendors\ \ The Project Manager must have:\ - 5+ years project management experience in a print production or related setting\ - Must have experience working on specialty printing items such as packaging, foil stamping, embossing - they are not looking for someone with direct mail experience\ - Previous experience with Pre-Press, Pressroom and Bindery\ - Strong understanding of print and design principles with working knowledge of end to end process\ - Monarch/EFI experience is preferred!\ \ #LI-TH1\ \ \ \ Our client offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance with a flexible spending account.
