Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Finance Director for a government organization on the Oregon Coast in Newport. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance. This role has 7+ direct reports. This role is not remote and is 100% in-office M-F with a flexible schedule. They provide exceptional benefits, including 11% employer contribution to retirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial statements and reports

• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies

• Oversee all payroll functions

• Effectively maintain all financial records

Requirements

• Public sector/government experience required.

• Grant accounting and administration experience required.

• Multi-state and multi-entity experience would be ideal

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required

• CPA is strongly preferred (active or inactive)

• Master’s degree desired
