Position Overview

As the Senior Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the successful execution of complex engineering projects from inception to completion. Your ability to oversee cross-functional teams, implement strategic plans, and adhere to project timelines will be critical in ensuring project success. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, engineers, and senior management, to ensure the seamless delivery of projects on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

•Lead and manage multiple engineering projects concurrently, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's objectives and goals.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, and present them to stakeholders for approval.

• Coordinate project teams, assign responsibilities, and establish clear communication channels to foster collaboration and ensure everyone is aligned with project objectives.

• Track and monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation plans to ensure projects stay on track.

• Utilize Microsoft Project Online and other project management tools to effectively plan, track, and report on project status, resource utilization, and financial metrics.

• Conduct regular project meetings to keep team members informed, resolve issues, and provide guidance to ensure projects are progressing smoothly.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, feasibility, and potential challenges, and provide support in finding solutions.

• Ensure that projects adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and quality guidelines throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Manage relationships with internal and external customers addressing any concerns or changes while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Continuously evaluate project performance, implement process improvements, and share best practices to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Project Online or similar project management software.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles, processes, and practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines and budgetary constraints.
