Salary: $90,000 yearly

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)

Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will oversee a staff of five, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.

• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and provide variance analysis.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
