Cayuse Holdings Ultrasound Technologist - Travel in Newberg, Oregon

Position Type: Full-Time - Travel - Must live at least 70 miles away

Pay Details: Pay rate includes Per Diem/Lodging

Shift: Various Shifts Available (Day, Evening, Night)

Responsibilities

  • Performs ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established procedures.

  • Demonstrates age appropriate care towards all customers.

  • Consistently demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations with special attention to abdominal, retroperitoneal and vascular scans.

  • Assists with minor Ultrasound invasive procedures (cyst aspiration and biopsies).

  • Obtains and relays information related to exam.

  • Educates patients about exams, adjusting to patient/staffing needs.

  • Provides support to Ultrasound Department to aid workflow.

Qualifications

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

  • Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

  • Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or

  • Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire

  • New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.

  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

  • 2 years OBGYN sonography experience

USD $39.00 - USD $41.00 /Hr.
