We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist for one of our clients based in Newberg, OR. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, making it essential for the individual to be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process invoices and prepare them for payment

• Accurately manage and enter new vendor information into accounting software systems

• Ensure the timely printing of checks on a weekly basis

• Maintain and audit account records, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions

• Handle account coding tasks and accrual accounting procedures

• File and organize financial documents diligently.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately assign expenses to appropriate accounts.

• Demonstrated experience with Accounting Software Systems for efficient management of financial data.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions, ensuring the financial stability and transparency of the organization.

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP), including processing invoices, managing payments, and resolving discrepancies.

• Experience in Auditing, with the ability to examine financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with established controls and standards.
