Job Summary:

In alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, the Quality Data Analytics Specialist ensures that all services meet established quality standards outlined in Policies and Procedures.

This position is on-site, requiring the successful candidate to commute to and from Clifon Springs, NY.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in direct care support in behavioral or related health services field preferred.

  • Proficient in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and Electronic Health Records.

  • Must be a current U.S. citizen.

  • Valid NYS Drivers’ License.

    Required Skills/Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of OASAS, OMH, DOH, OMIG, HIPAA, CFR 42 regulations, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Experience with implementing corrective action programs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to urgent situations.

  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data; report results to relevant business members.

  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets; work with teams to establish business needs and define new data collection/analysis processes.

  • Create monthly reporting summaries for the Quality Assurance Department and associated committees.

  • Develop data summaries related to agency grants, projects, and ad hoc reports as requested by the Executive Team.

  • Identify areas for quality improvement through data analysis.

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for reporting and data trend analysis.

  • Implement quality assurance standards; conduct evaluations through ongoing audits.

  • Document internal audits and quality assurance activities.

  • Investigate customer concerns and quality issues.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to manage incident reports.

  • Collect and compile statistical quality data; assist in formulating scorecards.

  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

  • Prepare and present reports on quality activities outcomes.

  • Organize and facilitate training to meet quality standards.

  • Coordinate and support on-site audits by external providers.

  • Monitor corrective actions and risk management activities (including treatment, financial, and environmental).

  • Provide education and guidance to team members, managers, and employees.

  • Participate in QA on-call rotation, providing on-site support as needed for incident management.

  • Manage special projects and additional duties as assigned.
