Position: Human Resources Generalist

Job Description:

Cherry Valley Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources operations at our independent hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the Human Resources function

• Work with the management team to empower their people management skills through trainings, development, coaching/counseling

• Ensure compliance to corporate policy, procedure

• Be familiar with federal, state and local guidelines/laws

• Establish local standard operating procedures, stemming from company handbook and policy, to ensure successful people operations

• Manage the entire hire and onboarding cycle for employees

• Conduct orientations

• Responsible for all aspects of HR compliance

• Work with management to put together training checklists for their staff

• Conduct team wrap sessions, and help build hotel wide culture

• Lead engagement for the property, and work with management to keep recognition running within each department

• Other duties as assigned
