HR Leader, Science and Technology Location(s): Granville, OH, US, 43023-1200 Function: Human Resources Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 62903 The Science & Technology Human Resources (HR) Leader provides HR functional expertise and leadership to business and corporate teams within the Science and Technology organization. The role is accountable to execute people-related strategies, plans and tactics that elevate the talent and capability of those organizations. Location: Granville Science & Technology Center Reports to: Human Resources Director, Science & Technology Span of Control: Individual contributor, may lead an HRDP. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES HR Strategy and Organization Effectiveness Develop HR strategy across groups to achieve functional goals based on understanding of the business/functional strategy. Understand drivers of change for the business and function and facilitate systematic design of the organization (OD) and effective change management. Lead organization design to enable to strategy by defining principles for capabilities, jobs, organizational processes, and organizational structures. Develop and promote mobility across business groups to enhance skills and competencies and facilitate alignment of resources. Implement plans and tactics that elevate the talent and capability of the supported organizations. Improve organizational results by measuring and assessing performance, effectively diagnosing root cause, and implementing innovative solutions. Active and participating member of group leadership teams. Influence team and provide sound council to team leaders. Create talent management strategies that put the right people in the right roles to drive achievement of the business strategy and objectives. Execute differentiated performance management and compensation. Continuously improve assessment, selection, development, and retention of best talent Continuously optimize our work environment to ensure a safe, engaged, and productive employee base Lead effective change management practices. Assess team performance and facilitate interventions proactively. Ensure BCC compliance and alignment with relevant regulations and requirements. Ensure that effective reward systems are in place to attract, retain, motivate employees and to ensure they operate effectively and are aligned to the business objectives. Act as liaison to HR Director, providing feedback from supported groups on Company initiatives and communication. Business Partnership Trusted advisor and business partner to people leaders, including senior leadership. Contribute thought leadership to strategy discussions outside of the HR area and provides timely and meaningful coaching, with confidence and candor and consistent with OC values. Coach and educate leaders so they are fully capable and accountable to own, improve and accelerate business results. Work across multiple businesses, geographies & functions. Demonstrated collaboration and influencing to achieve the results. Utilization of People & Financial Analytics in Organization Effectives objectives to achieve cost effective HR practices and strategies. Facilitates the assessment of individual employee capabilities through talent reviews, interviews, coaching, assessment tools and action planning.
