Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst - Entry Level in Newark, Ohio, United States. As a Financial Analyst, the primary function will be to provide data analytics, cost accounting, and reporting services. You are expected to leverage ERP, Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to carry out your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management

• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes

• Use accounting software systems to record, store and analyze information

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline and integrate processes

• Assist with the preparation of detailed reports using data analysis

• Work on ad hoc reporting projects as required

• Perform cost accounting tasks to help determine financial decisions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to input and interpret financial data

• Monitor and report on raw materials to aid in financial planning and forecasting.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to create Ad Hoc Reports

• Strong skills in Data Analysis

• Entry-level understanding of financial analysis principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferable

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy standards

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
