The Licking County Prosecutor's Office (Civil Division) is seeking and accepting applications for a Civil Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. The qualified candidate will:

· Must have a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio;

· Preferably have prior civil work experience, although not required;

· Be comfortable representing various county officials, responding to legal inquiries, researching and writing legal opinions, attending various court hearings and civil trials, and meeting with public officials;

· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of professional behavior and impeccable integrity and ethics;

· Be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Westlaw and other Windows based programs.
