Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a Medical Biller in Newark, NY ! This role is in person / on site. Please apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities of the Medical Biller:

· Responsible for general aspects of billing and payment collection.

· Process claims and handle clearing house rejections.

· Resolve denial instances.

· Post charges.

· Post payments.

· Monitor accounts receivable.

· Work with insurance companies on disputed claims and processing issues.

· Edit tracking spreadsheets.

· Interact virtually with clients on billing and payment matters.

· Assist with incoming mail.

· Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion.

· Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as necessary.

Qualifications for the Medical Biller:

· Ability to work independently with a sense of personal ownership and ability to “get things done” as well as work as part of a team.

· 2 years minimum of experience in accounts receivable field.

· Medical Billing experience preferred.

· Valid NYS Drivers’ License

· Creative problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication skills

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel skills.

· Strong aptitude for written and verbal customer service.
