Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple scrum teams managing our portfolio of email marketing tools, encompassing both SaaS products and internal applications.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters to ensure successful delivery of technology projects within the email marketing domain.
  • Establish and maintain Scrum processes in coordination with Scrum teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within scope, quality, and budget constraints, making adaptive adjustments based on financial analysis and risk assessments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating best Agile practices along with traditional project management methodologies.
  • Liaise with all management levels to resolve high-level project issues and facilitate stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and implement IP warming strategies to optimize email deliverability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and engagements with external SaaS companies effectively.
  • Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to anticipate and manage project concerns.
  • Utilize RACI matrices to clarify team roles and ensure clear accountability and ownership.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and strategic alignment plans to executive leadership, ensuring consistency with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master methodologies is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, particularly in complex projects spanning email marketing, digital publishing, or application development.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing Scrum teams and thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, with the flexibility to integrate traditional project management practices.
  • Proficiency in using email marketing tools, conducting IP warming, and collaborating with email service providers.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and familiarity with open-source web development architectures.
  • Proven ability to lead project management efforts, mentoring and providing training to team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and oversee multiple ongoing projects.
