Description

An international Marketing Company located in Newark, has an opportunity for a Staff Accountant. This is a remote position but will need to be onsite as needed AND MUST LIVE IN THE TRI STATE AREA!!

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and reconcile related GL accounts.

• Assist in month-end, year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries.

• Review, analyze and post T& E transactions.

• Ad hoc projects as requested by management.

• Process and close Fixed Assets.

  Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience, with a solid understanding of accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Independent self-starter, with high initiative and strong work ethic, comfortable asking questions and learning from others.

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (specifically advanced Excel); experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.

• Proactive problem solver who is highly organized, with strong attention to detail, to ensure accurate and timely task completion, with a commitment to quality.
