Posting Summary | The Institute for Ethical Leadership (IEL) at Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate Position funded by the Mark and Rosemary Carawan Fellowship in Business Ethics. This is a non-renewable two-year calendar year Post-doctoral Associate position in business ethics or leadership ethics. We seek applicants with a strong background in any area of business or leadership ethics, such as behavioral ethics, organizational ethics, CSR, and philosophical ethics. The IEL has ten Faculty Research Fellows. Their work covers a wide range of interests, including philosophical ethics, behavioral ethics, organizational ethics, leadership ethics, and CSR. |

Minimum Education and Experience | All applicants are required to provide official verification of their Ph.D. They must have completed the requirement of the Ph.D. between July 1, 2021, and August 1, 2024. Applicants who have not completed their Ph.D. at the time of application must provide official verification of completion by August 1, 2024. The appointment will be effective September 1, 2024. The Associate will receive an annual salary of no less than $61,805 and Rutgers University health benefits. Rutgers Business School is part of Rutgers -The State of New Jersey. The School is located in the New York metropolitan area and spans campuses in Newark and New Brunswick. We expect that the Postdoc's primary office location will be on the Newark Campus. |

Overview | Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral Associate will receive mentorship from the Director and the Institute's Fellows. The Associate must maintain an active research agenda, teach, and participate in IEL activities. The teaching obligation is two sections each year of a 3 credit introductory business ethics course or equivalent on the Newark or New Brunswick campus. They are also expected to participate in faculty seminars and help the IEL Director organize conferences and other events. |
