The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. We are open to potential virtual candidates as well. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Conduct competitive research and analysis of competitors product offerings; Working with our Product and Distribution leads to understand the latest industry offerings and the potential impact to our sales objectives.
Monitor, evaluate, and recommend potential opportunities by reviewing the life insurance industry, vertical markets, sales results, and competitor and regulatory trends to ensure Individual Life Insurance and its affiliates are positioned appropriately.
Support Product Management, Distribution, Marketing, the ILI Strategy team, and other functions within ILI by proactively and reactively providing potential solutions for capability gaps and opportunities.
Consult with Marketing and Distribution Leadership in the creation of marketing/sales literature, illustrations, and presentations to favorably position Prudential products with sales associates and consumers.
Perform trend analysis to assess the implications of current and likely future competitive developments.
Leverage product and competitive expertise to educate agents and marketers on life insurance product design and features and sales strategies. This includes webinars, conference calls, traveling and presenting in person, and general email inquiries.
What youll need:
MBA or relevant designations preferred (e.g., FSA, MAAA, CLU/ChFC).
7+ years of financial services experience.
Excellent analytical and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and project management skills, including the ability to present to both internal and external audiences.
Capacity to think strategically and analytically to connect a variety of internal and external inputs into a vision and direction.
Excellent teamwork and mentoring skills.
Series 6 or 7, or ability to obtain Series 6 within first 6 months.

Experienceworking for an insurance company in a competitive intelligence, market insights, product strategy or sales support role preferred.

The salary range for this role is from $115,800.00 to $172,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
