Job Title: Boiler Operator
Job Description
The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the visual safety inspection of the area, documentation of pressure & temperature, and logging readings in a log book. You will visit different sites on campus, inspect worksites for potential problems, and provide customer service.
Responsibilities
Conduct visual safety inspections of the boiler area.
Document pressure and temperature readings.
Record data in log books and log sheets in the boiler room.
Inspect worksite for any potential problems.
Provide customer service while visiting different sites on campus.
Essential Skills
Experience in logging readings in a log book.
Ability to monitor boiler functions.
Perform maintenance on boilers.
Mechanical skills.
Preventive maintenance experience.
NJ Blue Seal license or NJ Black Seal High pressure license.
Boiler maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Customer service experience.
Experience with compressors.

Work Environment
This position is located at a multi-city university that never closes. Employees of the facility department are considered essential and must ensure the university remains operational at all times.
