The Associate Manager, Planning and Analysis, role in PGIM will partner with each PGIM business unit planning and analysis team, the PGIM Strategy team and PGIM CFOs office on various recurring engagements and adhoc projects to support PGIMs growth strategy and management reporting. This individual should be a highly motivated, finance professional who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is able to work independently and clearly communicate with direct team members as well as finance and business colleagues across the company.
The current Employee Work Arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect
Forecasting, Analytics and Insights
Consolidation of monthly and quarterly forecast results and preparation of presentation materials including the preparation and development of supporting schedules and analysis for underlying drivers of financial results.
Review and elevate the monthly and quarterly forecast presentation materials from an executive consumption perspective, while looking for ways to drive efficiencies using new technology-based solutions
Investor Relations: Provide key analytics support and insights in collaboration with PGIMs senior management team for earnings call preparation for Prudential COO
Provide analytical support for industry surveys
Support business profitability and analytics as requested by PGIM Management
Strategic Finance / Ad Hoc Projects
P&A role provides dynamic opportunities to support the PGIM CFO, CEO, and COO on a variety of different projects including a multi-year strategic forecast as well as the earnings impact of various market paths
Collaboration with PGIM Strategy team on strategic initiatives
Peer analysis comparison of drivers and results as required by the CFO
Support integration of inorganic growth opportunities
Collaboration
The role requires a high degree of collaboration with the business finance teams within PGIM and Prudential Corporate counterparts.
Attend and participate in quarterly forecast and actual financial review meetings with each PGIM business unit
What you will bring
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Must have 3-5 years in financial analysis or reporting
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Agile and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
Proficiency with MS Suite including using Excel and PowerPoint
What will set you apart?
Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, or CFA)
Experience performing advanced multi-scenario financial modeling and analysis
Basic understanding of the Asset Management Industry
Experience with Prudential Financial systems (Obero / Smartview, Oracle etc.)

The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $115,000 . Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
