Job Description
We are looking for a Training Developer/Content Management Specialist for a long-term opportunity that is hybrid in Newark, DE . In this role, you will play a crucial role in executing our content strategy across digital platforms, including SharePoint, MS Teams, WordPress, and other technologies. The position will be responsible for ensuring that the platform(s) align with our client’s vision to support the effective and efficient adoption and sustainment of systems, processes, and procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the effective execution of training, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Your exceptional design skills and attention to detail when implementing these services, will enhance our brand reputation and support the client during a time of significant transformation.
What You’ll Do
Developing training content including webinars, self-pace learning modules, and other modalities to execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals to transform and modernize their ways of working
Driving brand awareness, engagement and end-user adoption
Creating high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email marketing campaigns
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information as needed, and to develop content that supports program initiatives
Implement a content strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives, effectively reaching various target audiences
Create and manage all publication calendars to deliver timely content across various digital platforms
Ensure publishing of engaging end-user friendly content, including training materials, and other content, including but not limited to blogs and newsletters
Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, and make data-driven recommendations
Create dashboards and reports to highlight improved efficiencies and key performance indicators to highlight the success of various program initiatives
Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the client’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables
Manage and maintain content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future us
What You’ll Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
5+ years of experience as a content manager, content strategist or similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, content across digital platforms
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a strong working knowledge of HTML
Experience using analytics tools to monitor content performance
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
An analytical mindset to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in content management and social media tools like WordPress, SharePoint, MSTeams, Captivate/Articulate/Rise 360, SnagIt, Canva, Camtasia, HubSpot and/or Coschedule
Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and web design best practices
Desired
Master’s degree in marketing, graphics design, communication, journalism or a related field
Knowledge of content marketing trends, audience segmentation, and persona development
Familiarity with change management techniques and methodologies (i.e., Prosci ADKAR)
Familiarity with content distribution and amplification strategies, to drive rapid end-user adoption, reinforcement, and sustainment
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
