Wanted: Experienced Property Maintenance Technician/Supervisor

Family owned property management company seeking a FT Property Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain townhouses in the Newark, DE and Elkton, MD area. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of property maintenance. Must have a valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Duties Include:

Supervise 4-6 maintenance workers

Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and interiors.

Ensure all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.

Provide preventative maintenance for all buildings\' systems, equipment, and components.

Repair and replace appliances including refrigerators, electric and gas stoves, water heaters, washing machines, and dryers.

Interact with current and potential tenants in a polite and professional manner.

Troubleshoot maintenance issues through email and phone conversations with tenants.

Open and close work orders, schedule maintenance appointments and follow up visits as needed.

Report to supervisors with details and insight on work performed.

- Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service roofs, siding, windows, etc.

- Frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across sites

- Work in outdoor weather conditions, and occasionally in tight quarters
