Job Summary:
As a Vice President in the Operations Control Management team, you will oversee governance and controls for Client Tax Operations, focusing on Custody and Markets. You will assess operating models, manage risks, and engage stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision-making. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient tax processes and contributing to the development of the 2025 OCM strategy.
Join us to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, risk, audit, and technology, to drive consistent operational risk practices. Your expertise will support continuous improvement and risk reduction, fostering a learning culture within the team and supported Operations teams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the Client Tax Operations Control Management team in overseeing tax-related processes and controls.
• Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture with proven evaluation strategies and change management protocols.
• Promote continuous learning and development within the team and supported Operations teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to drive consistent operational risk practices.
• Implement data analysis and management strategies to monitor CTO health and identify risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate process execution and risk mitigation.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist in interactions with audit, compliance, and regulators.
• Manage key metrics to inform on the risk and control environment.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• 3 years of experience in tax operations, controls, or a related field, with a focus on data analysis and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Experience in risk management and the development of control frameworks.
• Strong team collaboration skills, with a track record of contributing to high-performing teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Self-starter, with the ability to execute in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Experience in a global financial services environment.
• Knowledge of securities services and custody operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to tax operations.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and process improvements.
