Tekberrys Assembly Technicians will work on-site with our client, Bloom Energy. Blooms unique on-site power generation systems are among the most efficient on the planet, providing significantly reduced operating costs and producing dramatically lower greenhouse gas emissions.

As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for manual component assembly, screen printing, furnace operation, preparing kits for assembly, Automated Tool Operator and quality inspection of on-site power generation systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Separate and scrape material to recover viable product.
  • Torch and visually inspect material for quality.
  • Package finished product and prepare for shipping.
  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to understand and recognize defects on RIC assembly line. Track and report defects to lead/supervisor for part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior mechanical assembly desired.
  • One year minimum experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environment.
  • Microsoft office skills/experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with PC based testing equipment is preferred.
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills required.
  • Excellent hand and eye coordination is needed.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator.
  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
