Job Description

Our financial client is hiring a Application Resiliency/ Business Continuity Consultant to help meet needs as the number of controls and tests have increased as have audit issues and risk investigations. The existing resources have low knowledge of how backups work, how applications fail over, and how applications are rebuilt leading to vague standards and low capability to help developers and BCC. This group also performs tools administration, and end user testing to ensure standards and automation appropriately deliver functionality. This group is fundamental to working to close issues, support MRAs, support audits , support problems, and maintain standards.

Search will target resources with greater technical knowledge and understanding of application & data resiliency configurations, recovery/failover, and restoral than what currently exists within this team. Align to existing MRA/Audit Issue workload to assist in driving each forward, identifying and analyzing root cause of the deficiency, developing the necessary solution, and recommending updates to Standards, SOP and other documentations as needed

This positions is for a highly competent Business Continuity Consultant with experience in Technology Resiliency Planning and Testing to join our dynamic technology resiliency team. This candidate will work within the Global Technology Resiliency & Business Continuity (GRBC) Planning and Testing Operations team and play a crucial role in helping our client reduce technological risk and maintain regulatory compliance within technology resilience planning and testing programs.

This role can sit in any of the below cities & will be expected to go onsite 3x/ week.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of technology resilience planning and testing or equivalent: developing and managing technology resiliency & recovery plans and testing standards, policies, and process and procedure documents

Experience in failure analysis and contingency planning and testing

Knowledge of full stack build techniques, automation, and data protection

Knowledge of technology systems application and data protection techniques, system rebuild and data recovery or reconstruction capabilities and testing techniques null
