Description

Family owned, property management firm is looking to hire an A/P Specialist with strong bookkeeping expertise. This A/P Specialist will assist with receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, processing bank reconciliations, owning the accounts payable process, assisting with bank deposits, manage cash receipts, spreadsheet maintenance, verify approvals, assist with check runs, and reconcile vendor statements. The successful candidate must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, knowledge of best practices in accounting, and the ability to multi-task.

Primary Responsibilities

· Analyze, process, and approve invoices

· Provide administrative assistance

· Monitor payroll expense claims

· POC for external vendors

· Assist with invoices adjustments

· Prepare financial reports

· Assist with check runs

· Reconcile account transactions

· Investigate and resolve A/P discrepancies

Requirements

The ideal AP Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the AP Specialist role include and are not limited to:

· 2+ years of AP experience, preferably in the real estate industry

· Experience with Rent Manager is a plus

· Infor experience a plus
