Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment, calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures, and analyze products for purity conformance to specifications. This role also involves processing cylinders for shipment, maintaining quality control records, and ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment.

• Calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures using partial pressure.

• Analyze products for purity conformance to specifications.

• Process cylinders for shipment, including painting, labeling, and preparing certificates of analysis.

• Maintain all quality control records and other required documentation.

• Test and certify incoming materials for production.

• Handle cylinders and manage loading and unloading as required.

• Participate in all required safety activities and maintain a safe work environment.

• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and analytical techniques.

• Proficiency with hand tools and general production assembly.

• Familiarity with process analyzers.

• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Experience in a quality assurance role.

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to handle heavy lifting as part of job duties.

Work Environment

You will work with various departments including customer service and production in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Safety is a top priority due to the nature of the work involving chemicals. Some overtime may be required, though not frequently. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
