Adecco has an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Machine Operator (Machinist - CNC Manufacturing Technician) to join our client’s team in Newark, CA. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines, to ensure efficient production operations and high-quality output. Candidates must also be open to training in other departments, such as tube bending machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC lathes and milling machines.

• Review technical drawings, blueprints, and samples to ensure accurate production.

• Measure materials precisely for cutting and shaping.

• Choose the appropriate machine and settings for each task.

• Plan and execute the sequence of operations to complete assignments effectively.

• Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and support overall operations.

• Be open to training and working in other departments, including tube bending machines.

• Willingness to Learn: Open to training on other manufacturing machinery, such as tube bending machines, to enhance versatility and support various production needs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience with sheet metal work is advantageous.

• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC mills.

• Strong mechanical skills and coordination.

• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Familiarity with various metals and finishes.

• Brake Press Operation: Experience in operating brake presses, including setting up and programming CNC brake press machines for precise metal bending and forming operations. Ability to interpret blueprints and ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.

Education and Experience:

• Experience with measurement tools such as gauges, calipers, and computers.

• Background in machine tools or mechanical assembly.

• Knowledge of safety practices.

• Experience with tube bending, fabrication, and sheet metal is a plus.

• Tube CAD and laser cutting experience are also beneficial.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
