Transfr Inc. VP, Sales in New York, New York

VP, Sales (Transfr Inc., New York, NY): Leader of one of the sales verticals within Transfr, consisting of a Sales team selling into Education and Government within their assigned territory (Account Executives) and Inside sales function (Inside Sales Representatives). Ensure the success of the team measured by quota attainment and new pipeline added by quarter (50%); Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful sales strategies and implementation (25%); Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor information to make informed decisions (5%); Manage the individual team’s budget and allocate resources effectively (5%); Provide regular reporting on sales performance and financial results to senior leadership (5%); Determine price schedules and discount rates (5%); and Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs (5%). In order to complete the abovementioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team to meet or exceed revenue goals; Knowledge of sales methodologies, practices, and techniques; Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software - Salesforce software, Hubspot software, SalesLoft; Experience with DOMO, Google Suite; Experience with customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources; and Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business or related field and at least two (2) years of experience in a Sales Leadership, Senior Management or related occupation.
