THE ROLE

The VP of Finance will have responsibility for the development and execution of the financial strategy that supports the Company’s business plan for day-to-day finance operations for multiple Music Merchandising Entities and related Screen Printing and Poster Production Companies. The selected candidate will be accountable for taking on a leadership role in all financial decision-making that affects each Company and will provide strategic financial input to each Company President that they support. While keenly overseeing the accounting process, the successful VP, Finance will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of Live Nation.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Oversee the accounting/forecast processes of multiple Companies and serve as a financial advisor for strategic planning purposes.

  • Develop financial forecasts while driving systems, processes and controls to enable broader financial subject area expertise within the organization.

  • Review and approve all SAP/Oracle A/P and Wire/ACH payments.

  • Collaborate with HR on employee matters relative to hiring/headcount and other monetary/financial situations.

  • Review and approve all Month End supporting schedules (rollforwards, analytics, quarterly SOX disclosures, etc.)

  • Review and certification of monthly, consolidated financial statements (Month End Close)

  • Present monthly forecast package and operational overview to the Executive team

  • Lead the Merch Nation forecasting and budgeting processes

  • Review and approve joint venture NCI calculations, available cash calculations and tax distributions to the partners of each of the joint ventures.

  • Provide business development analysis support

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA/ MBA preferred

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate Accounting and Finance required

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership/people management experience

  • Background in entertainment nice to have

  • Financial savvy; demonstrated ability to foster and lead cost-efficient initiatives without sacrificing quality or core values

  • Exceptional analytical problem solving and data modeling experience; aptitude to apply modeling skills to resolve operational performance problems is a plus

  • Skilled at arriving at and reaching understandings and agreements with a broad range of people internally and externally

  • Ability to problem solve quickly and react to changes in business processes efficiently

  • Must be willing to perform all functions, in addition to supervising.

  • Know how to work collaboratively and be a true business partner to leaders to drive results – top and bottom line.

  • Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discuss options and make recommendations

  • SAPB1, Oracle and BPC experience are a plus (BPC will be retired and replaced with OneStream in 20250

The expected compensation for this position is:

$200,000.00 USD - $250,000.00 USD
