Position Summary

The Principal Investigator, Vijay Modi, is seeking a skilled writer to aid in summarizing recent energy access expansion endeavors and transforming technical data and research into engaging narratives accessible to a wider audience. The writer's primary responsibility will involve crafting public-facing documents and articles detailing the outcomes of projects like the CWP Uganda initiative. Additionally, they will be tasked with generating narrative content for the lab's website, focusing on elucidating the impact of the team's recent outputs for non-technical audiences. This role demands adeptness in translating complex technical information into compelling stories to enhance understanding and appreciation of the lab's work in energy access expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to analyze existing data and conduct comprehensive desk reviews.
  • Contribute to the creation of public-facing articles that highlight recent lab work and findings.
  • Develop engaging content for the lab's website to effectively communicate research initiatives and outcomes.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Principal Investigator.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years related experience in a research environment. Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.S. & experience in storytelling with data preferred.
