Position located at our New York City Headquarters in lower Manhattan.

Hybrid Position: 2 days working from home Sundays and Mondays, 3 days in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday including holidays.

MSA Security, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Timekeeping Systems Administrator. The Timekeeping Systems Administrator is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and auditing of MSA Security’s timekeeping system, EPAY. The Timekeeping Systems Administrator role and scope of responsibility is critical to business operations to ensure customers’ invoices are accurate, all billable worked hours are being coded correctly in MSA’s Accounting system, and employees are being compensated correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become the Subject Matter Expert and Administrator of E-Pay, MSA Security’s timekeeping system

  • Manage the business workflows within EPAY; create new or enhance existing system processes to support the business

  • Responsible for the set up and maintenance of sites and posts

  • Manage employee pay rates and client billing rates to ensure all posts and projects are coded accurately. When issues occur, must investigate and determine cause and solution

  • Responsible for the management of Training & Care scheduling to ensure accurate payment calculations for over 800 Explosive Detection Canine Handlers working nationwide on a weekly basis

  • Responsible for the reporting of time and scheduling errors; coordinate the effort to resolve the errors with scheduling personnel in a timely manner

  • Work with the MSA Payroll Manager to identify and streamline opportunities related to improved accuracy and efficiency of working shifts

  • Conduct regular audits in EPAY to ensure the accuracy of sites, posts, and pay and bill rates

  • Provide coaching and ongoing support to Scheduling Representatives to ensure employees are compensated correctly. Promote and institutionalize best practices

  • Responsible for producing EPAY reports

  • Resolve “exceptions” weekly; ensure schedule is corrected so that employee is paid appropriately and customer is billed correctly

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for scheduling representatives clearing exceptions and building schedules, etc.

  • Provide direction and training to scheduling representatives; identify issues by providing the correct steps to follow

  • Act as the technical liaison responsible for working with the EPAY developers for all system related issues

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Must possess one or more of the following:

  • High School diploma with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in business administration or analytics

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field of study with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in business administration or data analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Networking or related field of study

  • Minimum of three (3) years of administration experience working with a payroll and/or time and attendance system

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with analytical reporting

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Highly organized and strong attention to details

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; this position has constant interaction with a wide population of operational employees

  • Strong attention to detail; ability to resolve issues by using past experience, knowledge of trends, and tips and other tools within the scheduling system

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Payroll experience

  • Scheduling experience

  • System administration experience beyond payroll and time and attendance systems.

  • Proficiency in EPAY

Pay $61,000 to $ $66,368 per year
