This position is part of Technology Regulatory Change Management (TRCM), a front-line group within Technology accountable for assessing and ensuring the effective management of regulatory risks for Technology. This position will support processes to ensure that Wells Fargo Technology understands the landscape of technology-applicable regulatory requirements, can evidence control and policy coverage for those requirements, and demonstrate adherence through monitoring routines that drive accountability of risk associated non-adherence to the regulatory requirements. This position will work horizontally across Technology, Independent Risk Management, Legal, and Audit to ensure a strong control environment exists for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns

  • Assess, analyze, and design moderately complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring

  • Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance or support in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

  • Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response, and effectiveness of communications and materials

  • May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior understanding of Technology (IT and Cybersecurity) processes strongly preferred

  • Experience working in a regulatory environment with knowledge of technology requirements relating to recovery and resolution planning

  • Ability to author status reporting for all levels of leadership

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Strong ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis in writing including presentations, executive summaries, and reporting

  • Demonstrated understanding of technology risk management, mitigation, and governance

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to drive results independently or in collaboration with business partners

  • A high comfort level with working in a fast paced, unstructured, unpredictable, and frequently changing environment

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the Wells Fargo organization

  • Tenacity and persistence to ensure compliance with tight deadlines

NC - Charlotte Pay Range: $84,000 - 149,400 Annually

MN- Minneapolis Pay Range: $84,000 - 149,400 Annually

NY- New York Pay Range: $100,800 - 179,200 Annually
