Staff Accountant Needed in New York, NYVerify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable. Monitor and reconcile monthly revenue and deferred revenue. Perform month-end and year-end close entries. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Managers attention. Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles. Liaise with Controller and Accounting Manager to improve the financial procedure.
