Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Sr Production Engineer (LACHAA) in New York, NY.Job Duties: Work on production services at scale and their associated infrastructure and tools. Design, review and guide development teams on implementation of systems. Hands-on coding of automation, tooling and pipeline systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and evolve the product's engineering roadmap. Support the operability roadmap to improve the availability, performance, scalability and efficiency of the services by implementing monitoring, automation, redundancy, capacity and business continuity planning. Participation in on-call rotation, drive incident resolution, live troubleshooting and impact mitigation.Minimum Requirements: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Sr DevOps Engineer, Sr Sys Adminstrator, or in a related/similar position.Special Skills: Experience therein to include two years of experience involving each of the following:(1)administering, debugging and tuning web apps, and containers;(2)configuration management tools, including Chef or Puppet;(3)container and cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS;(4)Linux system internals, shell scripting, troubleshooting tools for application stack and networking; and(5)building CI/CD pipelines.Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.Salary: $179,625.00 - $299,375.00 per year.
