Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Amazon Payments in New York, New York

The Payment Acceptance and Experience (PAE) Marketing team is looking for an analytical, strategic and consumer-focused senior product marketing manager to join our team. This person will join the PAE Insights team and directly work on putting customers at the forefront of PAE and Amazon Payments decisions, as we aim to enable new and existing shoppers anywhere in the world to pay, on and off Amazon, using their preferred payment method.

This person will own multiple insight initiatives to help inform brand & product strategy, customer experience and marketing effectiveness. This role requires an individual with a passion for consumer behavior, excellent analytical abilities, and strong business acumen. This person will need to influence internal and external stakeholders, and use data to make key strategic business decisions that drive value for customers globally. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be strategic to prioritize organization's priorities and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Key job responsibilities

· This role will focus in using external and internal tools (Voice of the Customer, Surveys, Social Media Listening, Weblabs) to identify customer experience defects and opportunities across the payment experience on Amazon, deep dive and drive product ideas and solutions to improve the customer shopping journey.

· Own the PAE Voice of the Customer program, which includes working with Customer Service teams to share customer pain points across the org.

· Understand complex business problems across teams, geographies and product lines to create hypotheses and translate this into analysis requirements and identify significant insights that help Amazon improve our customer experience.

· Stakeholder management: Work with business teams to understand business questions, knowledge gap, priorities and collaborate with them on programs and actions to improve our customers’ experience.

· Share best practices and results: Drive continuous improvement; partner with colleagues across multiple teams to identify areas for collaboration, standard methodologies and product development.

· Effective communication and executive writing to drive business decisions.

· Leverage Gen AI and existing tools to improve team's productivity and scale work.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
